Established company, serving the pyrotechnics sector for over 250 years

Mugnaioni was founded in 1760 in Ponsacco, the town in the province of Pisa where our facilities are still located today. We are the oldest company in the area still in business and in 2010 we celebrated our 250th birthday. Ours is a family business, passed down from father to son, generation to generation: initially specialising in the production of pyrotechnic articles, today we deal with many other products and services, including the supply of navigation signalling articles, always acting with the utmost commitment and professionalism.

The new Mugnaioni company was born in the 1900s

In the early 1900s, Mugnaioni company in Ponsacco, in the province of Pisa, made an entrepreneurial transformation which is still bearing fruit today. Quintilio, Giovanni, Paolo, Luigi Mugnaioni and Lorenzo Galletti gave our company an industrial ethos and organisation, starting to produce defence articles for both the Italian Ministry of Defence and NATO, as well as signalling articles for navigation. With the arrival of Mario and Irene, our conception of the pyrotechnic industry was perfected. In our factories, built more than fifty years ago on 40 hectares of hillside in San Giorgio, we study innovative and high-performance solutions every day, operating with a certified quality control system on all production lines.
