Established producters of pyrotechnic articles for military and civil use in Ponsacco

Founded in 1760 in Ponsacco, in the province of Pisa, Mugnaioni celebrated its 250th anniversary in 2010. From generation to generation, the Mugnaioni family, always at the head of the company, has constantly improved the quality of the pyrotechnic articles it produces, increasing the scope of its supplies and the variety of services it offers year after year.

The current face of the company was established in the early 1900s, when the then president Quintilio Mugnaioni decided, after achieving excellence in the production of pyrotechnic articles, to organise the business in a more industrial manner and to turn production to the defence market, first nationally and then internationally. 

For decades, therefore, our company has infused passion, experience and skill into every product and service it offers, until it became a leader in the field of pyrotechnic articles, signalling articles for recreational boating and devices for the prevention of natural hazards such as avalanches, birds, hail and other atmospheric risks. 

We work side by side with significant companies and partner with the main Italian combat training centre to serve the training units of the Air Force, Army and Special Forces. To guarantee the highest quality in every order, since 1987 we have been operating with a certified quality control system on all production lines.
